Doctor Yao focuses on the pathogenesis of diseases and the development of new drugs. The disease areas include tumors, pulmonary fibrosis in pneumonia and liver fibrosis in hepatitis. He has published 30 SCI papers, including 16 first- or corresponding-authored papers, such as J Control Release, Eur J Med Chem, PLoS One, etc.
