Ph.D. supervisor, and the deputy director and academic committee member of the Provincial Key Laboratory of Food Safety Monitoring and Risk Assessment of Sichuan, the academic and technical leader of Sichuan province and the Sichuan Health Commission, the member of standing committee of the Health Inspection Committee, the Chinese Association of Preventive Medicine. Member of the Sichuan Preventive Medicine Association, deputy director of the Health Inspection Branch of the Sichuan Preventive Medicine Association. He is also the editor of four national professional journals.
He has undertaken more than ten scientific research projects including the sub-projects of the “Eleventh Five-Year Plan” and “Twelfth Five-Year Plan” of the Ministry of Science and Technology of China, and several national natural science funds and doctoral fund projects. He has published 200 research papers, including nearly 80 SCI papers, and obtained 1 national patent. He developed 2 national food standard inspection methods. As the chief editor and deputy editor,he has edited 5 textbooks and teaching reference books, and participated in writing of 13 textbooks. As postgraduate student advisor and PhD supervisor, he has trained 50 graduate students and more than 10 doctoral students. He won the third prize of Teaching Achievement Award of Sichuan Province and the first prize of Teaching Achievement Award of Sichuan University.
